Mother’s Day Gift Idea Round-Up!

It’s Friday! Yay!

I’m going to piggy-back on the great symbolism of hens, chicks and motherhood in yesterday’s succulent wreath post with more gift ideas for Mother’s Day!

For a smaller version of the Hens and Chicks project, purchase just a few and place them in a glass vase that you have on hand:

Start with a few small rocks on the bottom, for drainage, and layer it with potting soil. Plant your succulents. I had an antique orchid house in the garage and no use for it, so I planted some succulents in a potting saucer and spruced up the family room!

You could use one of the many gorgeous terrariums on the market: Hexagon Terrarium, Succulent Globe, PB Pickling Jar, PB White Terrarium
