Finding Inspiration in: Old Flower Planters!
Hi there! Happy Friday! I’m still in the thick of getting ready for our patio party this weekend, so today I have another project to share with you!
I wanted to place some planted flower arrangements on the edges of the patio, without buying more ceramic planters. Because I have already filled all of my planters for the summer, all I had left were the planters that I don’t really like; this was nothing that a can of spray paint and a glue gun couldn’t fix!
The theme for the engagement party is “Tying the Knot”, so I decided to paint the planters white and wrap the top in a light cotton rope, which I glued into place after painting them. The blue hydrangeas will match the blue and white theme, as well as the arrangements on the tables. What do you think? Easy enough!
The planters dug out of the planting shed, washed off and ready to paint!
After two quick coats of white matte spray paint.
I started at the top, wrapping the rope and gluing as I went.

Love, love the color!!!!
You just can’t beat blue hydrangeas, right? Thank you!
Yes, but I was talking about the color you painted the pots! The mint with white trim!
